Women’s Volleyball Drops Both in Rocky Road Trip

The Harvard women’s volleyball team (10-11, 5-7 Ivy) dropped two contests in its final road trip of the season. Facing two teams that the Crimson failed to defeat at home, the team also came up short on the road, losing once again to Brown (9-13, 6-6 Ivy) on Friday and to Yale (16-4, 11-1 Ivy) on Saturday.


Big Green Beatdown, Women’s Volleyball Defeats Dartmouth

After two straight winless weekends, the Harvard women’s volleyball team (9-8, 4-4 Ivy) got back on track taking down Dartmouth (9-9, 2-6 Ivy) 3-1 on the road. This was the second victory for the Crimson over the Big Green this season as Harvard won the previous matchup at home also in 3-1 fashion. The Crimson have now won four straight over Dartmouth, having not lost to its rivals from Hanover since 2022.


Harvard Women's Volleyball Gets Swept on Alumni Weekend

Entering the weekend, the Harvard women’s volleyball (8-8, 3-4 Ivy) team had a chance to make a strong statement at home against rival and perennial power Yale (11-3, 7-0 Ivy) and against other intra-league competitor Brown (6-11, 3-4 Ivy). Unfortunately for the Crimson, despite a strong performance in front of over a hundred fans and alums who traveled to Cambridge to pack the MAC against Yale, the squad was unable to overcome the might of the Bulldogs for its alumni game, falling short of greatness in four sets. The Crimson was unable to bounce back on Saturday, with a disappointing performance against the Bears leaving Harvard 0-2 on alumni weekend, and marking its first home losses of the season.


Women’s Volleyball Drops Two in First Ivy League Road Trip

After a fast start at home to kick off Ivy League play, the Harvard women’s volleyball team (8-6, 3-2 Ivy) stumbled on its first road trip of the conference season, losing via sweep to Princeton (5-9, 3-2 Ivy) and dropping a tight, five set match to UPenn (9-6, 3-3 Ivy). This weekend left the Crimson still looking for its first win in a true road game, as the team fell to 0-4 when not defending its home turf. Conversely, Harvard has valiantly defended the halls of  the Malkin Athletic Center, posting an impressive 6-0 record while playing in Harvard Square.


Women’s Volleyball Opens Ivy League Play with Dominant Win Over Dartmouth

After three weeks of highs and lows against non-conference opponents, Harvard (6-4, 1-0 Ivy) put it all together in its first Ivy League contest of the season. The Malkin Athletic Center gymnasium was filled with a sizable crowd on Friday night as the Crimson took on Dartmouth (7-4, 0-1 Ivy).


Women’s Volleyball Sees Shaky End to Tournament Play in Delaware State Tournament

The Harvard women’s volleyball team (5-4, 0-0 Ivy) ended an up and down non-conference slate with a 1-2 performance at the Delaware State Tournament, losing to host Delaware State (4-9, 0-0 MEAC), routing the New Jersey Institute of Technology (4-12, 0-0 America East), and dropping the last game of the weekend to George Washington (10-3, 0-0 Atlantic 10).


Women’s Volleyball Drops Two of Three at Art Carmichael Invitational

The Harvard women’s volleyball team (4-2, 0-0 Ivy) continued invitational season this week at the Art Carmichael Invitational, hosted at the University of Rhode Island. The Crimson lost its first two matches against Rhode Island (4-6, 0-0 A10) and Stony Brook (7-2, 0-0 CAA) but recovered to win its final match against Northern Illinois (2-6, 0-0 MAC).


Women’s Volleyball Off to a Hot Start, Sweeps Harvard Invitational

The Harvard women’s volleyball team (3-0, 0-0 Ivy) started the season off right with home victories over Stonehill, Merrimack, and UNH. By sweeping the Harvard Invitational, the squad clinched an undefeated opening weekend for the second consecutive season.

The Harvard women’s basketball team (15-11, 8-5 Ivy) dropped both games of its double-header this past weekend, falling to Princeton (22-4, 12-1) 60-49 and Penn (15-11, 7-6) 69-67. Despite the weekend’s setback, the Crimson remains in third place in the conference.
