Three Crimson Wrestlers Compete at NCAA Championships in Kansas City

The Harvard wrestling team (4-6) wrapped up its competitive 2023-24 campaign with a strong showing at the NCAA Wrestling Championships in Kansas City, Miss.. Senior captain Phillip Conigliaro, junior Diego Sotelo, and sophomore Jack Crook represented the Crimson in the 174, 125, and 149 pound weight classes, respectively. While Sotelo and Conigliaro have qualified for the event before, the 2024 saga marked Crook’s first attempt at clinching an NCAA title.


Three Harvard Wrestlers to Compete in NCAA Tournament in Kansas City

Harvard wrestlers senior Phillip Conigliaro, junior Diego Sotelo, and sophomore Jack Crook will travel to Kansas City this weekend to compete at the NCAA Wrestling Championships. Conigliaro and Crook qualified by placing in the top six at last weekend’s EIWA Conference Championships, which were held at Bucknell University, while Sotelo –  despite not earning an automatic qualification -- leveraged his stellar 23-10 record to win an at-large bid.


Harvard Wrestling Celebrates Senior Class but Falls to Princeton and Penn

Energy was high in Malkin Athletic Center this past weekend, as Harvard wrestling (3-5) contested its final two home duals of the season, dropping both against Princeton and Penn. At this past weekend’s EIWA Championships, Harvard wrestling saw four members of its squad qualify for the NCAA Tournament. The Crimson had an exciting weekend, featuring five podium places and earning 63 team points good enough for an eighth-place finish. The crew, which will compete at NCAA Tournament in Tulsa, Okla. is made up of sophomore Diego Sotelo, juniors Philip Conigliaro and Joshua Kim, and senior captain Yaraslau Slavikouski.


Harvard Wrestling Pins Down Two More Wins, Increasing Record to 3-4

Harvard wrestling made another statement in the Ivy League this past weekend at home defeating Columbia 19-18 in a gritty match on Friday night. The Crimson followed up with a hefty 21-11 win over visiting Hofstra on Saturday afternoon, moving the Crimson to a 3-4 record on the season and producing a lot of great energy as well.
