Water Polo Battles in Final Home Games of the Season

As October comes to a close, the men’s water polo team enters the final stretch of the 2018 season with two weekend matches against St. Francis (N.Y.) and Iona. This Saturday’s doubleheader comes after a 2-1 finish during its West Coast road trip at the Julian Fraser Memorial tournament in Santa Clara, Calif.


Andrew Rueb '95 Continues to Lead and Learn As Men's Tennis Coach

When Dave Fish announced his retirement after 42 years, Harvard lost a coaching legend who immensely shaped the men’s tennis program. However, there was one person who was the obvious choice to be Fish’s successor, and that was Andrew Rueb ‘95. For the past 11 years, he has helped Harvard to 192 victories and four Ivy League Championships as an assistant and associate head coach. Now he looks to continue the program’s tradition of excellence created by his mentor.


Men's and Women's Tennis Compete at the ITA Northeast Regionals

Both the Harvard men’s and women’s tennis teams saw action this past week at the ITA Northeast Regionals, and both squads had impressive finishes to the tournament. Fellow Ivy League school Princeton hosted the men’s tournament, which welcomed players from schools all around the Northeast, while Yale hosted the women’s side. Both tournaments ran from Oct. 11-16.


Men's Golf Travels to Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge

After not being able to travel with the team in Harvard’s last tournament, sophomore Grant Fairbairn led the way for Harvard in his season debut. The California native shot a 70 on Saturday, good enough for two-under par and third place on the leaderboard. Sunday saw him turn in a solid 73, which slid him back three spots to end the tournament in sixth place in a field of 74 competitors.
