Yemen Discussion
Fatima Abo Alasrar, Edward S. Mason Fellow and Yemeni citizen, emphasized the gravity of the humanitarian crisis in Yemen during a luncheon panel at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. The panel, according to Kennedy School Professor Michael C. Hudson, was assembled with initiative from current Yemeni students pursuing advanced degrees at the Kennedy School.
Out With The Old
Parents and relatives help students move out of Eliot House. Underclassmen must be moved out by Sunday, May 17th, while seniors must be moved out by Friday, May 29th.
Law Students for Justice
Students assembled in front of Langdell Hall on Tuesday evening for a moment of silence for Freddie Gray, who died after severe spinal cord injuries in police detainment. The moment of silence occurred just before 10 p.m., which is the curfew imposed by the city of Baltimore in light of recent civil unrest.
Silence for Gray
Student organizers from Harvard Law School assembled a vigil for Freddie Gray on Tuesday night in front of Langdell Hall. Gray died on April 12th after being detained by police forces in Baltimore and suffering spinal cord injury.
