Comic book fans from all demographics attended the expo throughout the day, including college students, middle-aged aspiring artists, and parents with their babies in tow.


MICE 2010 was held on the second and third floors of the Art Institute of Boston, catering to local cartoonists and writers to present and sell their work. Several gallery exhibitions are also being shown at the Art Institute this month, including “The Tragedies of War” exhibition in the main gallery.


Ron LeBrasseur, creator of several comic book series, set up an elaborate table showing all of his work, including his popular mini-comics, “Feel the Burn.”


Boston-based artist, Valerie P. Arruda, sells her own hand-drawn illustrations and prints at the Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo (MICE) on September 25, 2010 from 10 AM to 6 PM.
