Bowing Out of the Race
Former University President Larry Summers, pictured in a Crimson file photo, has withdrawn his name from consideration for Federal Reserve Chair.

Junior Nick Farnsworth, shown here in earlier action threw a personal best of 64.65 meters in the javelin against Rice last weekend. Farnsworth currently holds the record for Harvard’s third-best javelin throw of all-time.
Jack Brady
Brady, a co-captain of the track and field team, threw personal bests in his final season and is pursuing a professional career.
Brady Bunch
Men’s co-captain Jack Brady, shown here in earlier action, and the rest of the Crimson track and field team seek a top-four finish at the Heptagonal Championships this weekend. The women are hoping for similar results.
Justin Time
Co-captain Justin Grinstead finished second in the 400-meter hurdles at the UCF invitational over the weekend, finishing the race in 54.15 seconds. Grinstead also came in 10th in the 200-meter dash.
Overcoming Hurdles
In deciding which sport to commit to, sophomore Christine Reed ultimately stopped competing in world championships for jump roping in order to pursue a collegiate career in the pentathlon.
