James Williamson has been vocal in the political sphere of Cambridge for more than 40 years. In his 2015 campaign for City Council, Williamson has called for raising minimum wage, expanding and protecting affordable housing, and improving public transportation and pedestrian safety. His platform supports zoning for neighborhoods over large commercial real estate development and also urges the restructuring of campaign finance policies. Williamson is not spending money on his campaign.
