Having grown up in Cambridge, Dennis A. Benzan currently serves as Cambridge vice mayor and is running for his second term as a city councillor. A practicing attorney, Benzan worked his way through college as a carpenter and builder. Benzan said the need for affordable housing solutions for low- and middle-income families in Cambridge is one of the central issues facing the city. In addition, Benzan said he is committed to creating more homegrown jobs in the city.
