Members of Harvard's Men's Ice Hockey team celebrate their victory over Boston University in the Beanpot Tournament at TD Garden Monday evening. The Crimson reclaim the title after 24 unsuccessful years in the tournament.

Defeated Boston University hockey forwards Kieffer Bellows and Gabriel Chabot watch the Beanpot trophy ceremony following Monday's final match against Harvard. Harvard bested the Terriers, 6-3.


Athletic Dept. Expects Increased Attention for Pro Day

Thursday is a big day for Harvard’s Athletic Department. ESPN will likely be on campus, as will NFL.com. A horde of scouts will start their day across the river at the athletic facilities at 9 a.m.—all for the football team’s “Pro Day.”


Female Career Achievement Award: Jillian Dempsey

Harvard's athletic captains voted on one outgoing female and outgoing male to earn The Harvard Crimson's inaugural Career Achievement Award. Laura Bellamy, women's hockey co-captain, writes about teammate and winner Jillian Dempsey.


Coach of the Year: Tommy Amaker

Coach Tommy Amaker dealt with the absence of former co-captains Brandyn Curry and Kyle Casey from his roster, incorporating freshman point guard Siyani Chambers and sophomore center Kenyatta Smith into his starting line.


Male Career Achievement Award: Christian Webster, Men's Basketball

Co-captain Christian Webster is the winningest basketball player in program history. This season, he led his team to its first-ever NCAA tournament win. Teammate Tom Hamel writes about Webster's lasting legacy.
