Ava C. Carter ’13 - Inspired by Boston Fashion Week, FM set out to find some of the most stylish students on campus. Staff writer Grace Sun started with Ava Carter ’13, who makes classic pieces pop with funky accessories. Then, she asked Anna to name her "Best Dressed Friend" (BDF) on campus, along with something that she liked about her personal style. This daisy chain continued with each style star listing their BDF in turn. By Grace Sun
Ava’s BDF: Anjali R. Itzkowitz ’13 - "I met Anjali my sophomore year, and have always appreciated her unique and daring style. She uses a phenomenal mix of colors and prints, and mixes classic pieces with sentimental accessories and bold vintage finds." By Grace Sun
Anjali's BDF: Maya I. Anderson ’14 - "Maya has been my roommate since the first day of freshman year, and while much has changed over our four years here together, her sense of style has not. Quirky, thrift shop-heavy, and always edgy, she knows that the coolest outfit is the one no one else could even approximate." By Grace Sun
Maya’s BDF: Taylor A. Docter ’13 - "I like Taylor's style because it's laid back and has a California vibe, but she also pairs interesting designs, patterns, and fits to make for a really interesting look." By Grace Sun
Taylor’s BDF: Meghan M. Brockmeyer ’14 - “I met Meghan through one of my roommates and I think she has really cute style. She's one of those people who can always somehow pull off the "in" trends without looking like she's trying too hard—like high-waisted flares or crop tops. Somehow I think if I tried to wear those things, I would look really silly.” By Grace Sun
