Brown Mows Down Foes

For fans of Harvard softball, one thing has become a near-guarantee over the last two years: put sophomore Rachel Brown on the mound, and the Crimson will probably come away with the win.

After a phenomenal freshman season in which the hurler took home Ivy Rookie of the Year honors, Brown’s compiling some serious credentials for another piece of hardware—Ancient Eight Pitcher of the Year.

Columbia's Lomax Signs WNBA Contract, Is Markley Next?

With Columbia's Judie Lomax headed to the WNBA, junior Emma Markley just might have a shot at the pros.

If Jeremy Lin doesn’t get to play professional basketball, maybe Harvard fans won’t have to wait as long as they thought for the next Crimson baller to make it to the pros.

Considering that Columbia’s Judie Lomax just signed with the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun, it doesn’t seem too far of a stretch that Harvard junior Emma Markley, who twice thwarted Lomax in the Crimson’s two wins over the Lions this season, will have a chance at the pros before it's all said and done.

Bucs Give Williams A Chance

James Williams could soon be getting the chance to suit up at Raymond James.

After not being selected in this weekend’s NFL Draft, the Harvard star left tackle has signed an undrafted free-agent contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he will compete with three other undrafted free agents to make the team as a backup offensive lineman.

Men's lacrosse celebrated its victory over Princeton last weekend, but the team needs to keep its run going against No. 11 Yale to make the Ivy postseason tournament.

With one weekend left to determine who gets to play in the first Ivy League men’s lacrosse tournament, there are two things we know for certain. Princeton is in, and Penn is out. Everything else seems shrouded in mystery.

This is what we know for sure: with a win, Cornell, Brown, Harvard, and Yale guarantee themselves a spot in the tournament. The Big Red, Bears, and Bulldogs could lose and possibly still get in. Dartmouth needs a win and some help to clinch a spot.
