Sixteen Crimson Football Players Named Preseason All-Ivy

There was an even eight-eight split between the offense and the defense, and coach Tim Murphy was named the preseason Coach of the Year.
Lin headed to Houston amidst Knicks’ trade for veteran PG?
In a move that could spell the end of the Jeremy Lin era in New York, the Knicks have agreed to acquire veteran point guard Raymond Felton in a sign-and-trade deal with the Portland Trailblazers. The New York Post cited a source that said the trade ends New York’s pursuit of Lin, a restricted free agent, who plays the same position as Felton. According to the New York Times, a television reporter in South Carolina said that Felton had told him that the Knicks planned to let Lin walk away to the Houston Rockets, with whom the former Harvard standout has signed an offer sheet.

Jeremy Lin '10 Signs Rockets' Offer Sheet
Jeremy Lin ’10 is in the news again. After leaving the USA Select Team to focus on his restricted free agency, the former Crimson guard visited the Houston Rockets on Wednesday. Lin reportedly walked away from that meeting having signed an offer-sheet worth $30 million over the next four years. The deal would be worth a combined $10.2 million in the first two years and then $9.3 million each of the last two years.
This does not mean that Linsanity will be going to Houston though. Rather, it sets the table for the Knicks, who now have three days to match the Rockets’ offer, to keep Lin in New York.
