Magic of Numbers: Rivalry Weekend Set to Kick Off

CRIMSON SET TO FACE IVY OPPONENTS

20- Average lead held by women’s basketball during its current three-game winning streak beginning on Jan. 9.

272- Total points scored by the men’s basketball team in its 4-0 run through January.

60- Freshman guard Laurent Rivard’s total contribution in points throughout that streak.

9- The Harvard ski program’s (least) favorite number of the winter. The teams have finished ninth in both contests so far this season.

4- Number of games comprising the women’s ice hockey team's longest winning streak of the season, which they hope to continue on the road this weekend against Brown and Yale.

0- Number of league losses shared between all three swimming and diving teams that will be represented in the annual Harvard-Yale-Princeton meet this Saturday and Sunday in New Haven.

2- Chances to beat Cornell at home this weekend. The men’s basketball game tips off at 6 p.m. on Saturday in Lavietes Pavilion, and the men’s ice hockey game begins an hour later in the Bright Hockey Center.

4- The amount of losses the Crimson’s men’s ice hockey team suffered to Cornell last season, two coming in the second round of the ECAC playoffs.
