Arts Playlist: Songs for Crushing

By Crimson Arts Staff, Crimson Staff Writer

Having a crush consists of various distinct stages and, as such, requires an eclectic playlist. First, you fixate on someone — a “Sk8r Boi,” perhaps. Upbeat songs like “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz will do the trick while you can still perceive a glimmer of hope. That said, after good bit of yearning alongside Lead Belly’s “In the Pines,” the feels come on strong. And contemplative unrequited love calls for Frank Ocean.

The Arts board has compiled a master playlist of all of the songs we listen to while we’re crushing on people (and while our fantasies get crushed). Whether you're happily taken, pining after an unrequited love, or making small talk over a Datamatch waffle, check out our Songs for Crushing playlist. Come for the sheer amount of Taylor Swift. Stay for the communal ugly cry.
