After a week off while bottom-eight ECAC teams battled it out, Harvard men's hockey is ready to take on its first playoff opponent.

The Crimson (13-12-4, 11-8-3 ECAC) hosts Dartmouth (15-15-2, 11-10-1) for the first time in the ECAC quarterfinals this weekend. The Big Green bested St. Lawrence in last week's best-of-three series to advance to the next round. Harvard swept the visitors in the regular season, and that, combined with Dartmouth's lackluster record, makes this series look deceptively simple. But the Big Green have played spoiler to higher-ranked teams than the Crimson before.
