Duncan Kennedy’s description of the situation in Gaza is, as far as I know, entirely accurate, really even prosaic. That it may seem controversial is largely because of the extraordinarily one-sided coverage that the mainstream media in the United States provide for our consumption on most aspects of Middle Eastern politics. All of us have an obligation to inform ourselves about this painful and dangerous situation as fully as possible.
