Three Crimson women put up strong performances at the NCAA East Regional Championships in Gainesville, FL, over the weekend.

The throw was just .36 meters short of the fifth place finisher, with the top five in the event qualifying for the NCAA Championships on June 6-9. Senior co-captain Julia Pederson was 17th in the same event with a 43.21 meter throw.
Sophomore high jumper Becky Christensen finished in a tie with four other girls for ninth after clearing 1.71 meters.
