Skidding women’s volleyball returns east, clashes with New Hampshire tonight.

After a winless road trip to California, the Harvard women’s volleyball team returns to the colder confines of the Northeast as the Crimson travels tonight to Durham, N.H., to take on New Hampshire (UNH) at Lundholm Gym.

The Wildcats limp into tonight’s contest with a 2-10 record.

For Harvard, the match will offer a final opportunity to hone its tactics before kicking off its Ivy League slate Friday night against Dartmouth. After losing to all three of the opponents it faced at the San Jose State Hyatt Invitational this past weekend, a win against UNH would give the Crimson some momentum going into the match against the Big Green.

Junior co-captain Suzie Trimble and senior Katie Turley-Molony will test the Wildcats down the middle. Trimble continued her strong play in California, earning her second All-Tournament honor of the year, while Turley-Molony has taken over as a starter and is having arguably the best season of her collegiate career.

On the other side of the net, UNH junior outside hitter Emmy Blouin has established herself as a force to be reckoned with, named to the Michigan/Nike Challenge All-Tournament Team after recording a team-high 40 kills.
