Party Reporter: Last Week

THURSDAY

Despite a few casualties (RIP Kristi Jobson’s wrist), good times were had at Senior Bar’s Roller Disco. Hey, guys, remember the 70s?

Yeah, neither do we.

FRIDAY

Adams let down their dining hall restrictions for once and let anyone in to GET IT. Despite unconventional advertising (read: posters that made little sense), Kuumba’s dance was fairly standard dining hall dance fare with DJ Shiftee presiding.

SATURDAY

Mather Lather was as sketchy as was to be expected with a good deal of groping and a greater deal of pale skin. Says Vivek Kuncham ’08, “Once you’re under the foam it becomes a free for all. You literally have to punch your way out. So sometimes the bitches get hurt, but it’s all in the spirit of the party.”

Although the Facebook event invitation claimed no rashes would be had, a few complained of foam-induced dry skin. Despite a fantastic theme, AEPi’s Wet Hot American Summer party in Quincy didn’t live up to expectations when debates over the guest list overshadowed the spirit of the best movie ever made. The Currier TLR and Pfoho Belltower were, for once, not incredibly crowded and sweaty, although among Quad parties, the Belltower won out when large half-naked men started doing boat races on the bar.

SUNDAY
