Feb. 24:

2:34 a.m.—Officers were dispatched to Stoughton Hall North to a report of a large group of individuals in the area. The officers arrived and reported that the group is affiliated with Harvard and would be monitored for the time being.

4:37 p.m.—Officers were dispatched to Au Bon Pain to a report of an individual refusing to leave the restroom. The officers arrived and the individual was sent away.

5:52 p.m.—Officers were dispatched to a report of a suspicious individual in William James Hall. The officers arrived, located the individual, ran him for wants and warrants—with negative results. The 42-year-old Cambridge man, Claudio Martinez, was then placed under arrest for trespassing.



Feb. 25:

5:43 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Blodgett Pool to take a report of a stolen bag of clothing valued at $265 that had been left unattended.



Feb. 26:

6:05 a.m.—An officer was dispatched to the Academy of Arts & Sciences to a report of loud noise. The officer arrived and reported that the noise was coming from a snow blower and would be finished shortly.

9:43 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Adams House C entryway to take a report of an individual who received threatening phone calls.



Feb. 27:

11:32 a.m.—An officer took a report of an unattended navy blue Emporio Armani coat stolen from the Spangler Center. The coat was valued at $800.

9:21 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to Gund Hall to take a report of two stolen laser jet lenses and two laser jet mirrors valued at $500.



March 1:

2:26 p.m.—Officers were dispatched to Griswold Hall to a report of two individuals sleeping in the area. The officers arrived and reported that the two individuals were Harvard affiliates and had authorization to be there.

5:19 p.m.—Officers observed an individual at the intersection of Plympton Street and Mass. Avenue who might have been involved with previous thefts. The officers stopped the individual and conducted a field interview. When being questioned by the officers, the individual became belligerent and uncooperative. The individual was run for wants and warrants with negative results. Since the individual in question was a suspect in a Cambridge case, local police arrived on scene and arrested the individual.
