Harvard men’s hockey third-year pivot Kevin Du was named to the Division I All-New England team yesterday, winning the approval of the New England Hockey Writers Association with his solid play for the Crimson.
Du led Harvard with 33 points, notching 10 goals and adding 23 assists. The center ranked seventh in the ECAC with 24 points in league play and consistently was called upon by Crimson coach Ted Donato ’91 in high-pressure faceoff situations.
Du added the nod to a host of honors already heaped upon him this season. The junior was also named to the All-Ivy first team and the All-ECAC third team. His performance at the ECAC Final Four in Albany, N.Y., also earned him a spot on the All-Tournament squad.
The all-stars will be honored on April 13 in Saugus, Mass.
