Officials postponed Harvard’s doubleheader with Brown early in the morning yesterday, anticipating afternoon rain and damage to the field. The games will be played at O’Donnell Field today, starting at 1 p.m.
The Crimson enters the final week of the Ivy League regular season with a one-game lead on second-place Dartmouth, whose doubleheader against Yale was similarly postponed yesterday. The league office has not yet announced a make-up date for the finale of that series. Harvard will await the Big Green in the opening doubleheader of a four-game home-and-home series this weekend.
A Crimson sweep today would mathematically eliminate the Bears, who occupied first place in the Rolfe division as recently as Apr. 15, from Ivy League Championship Series (ICS) contention.
