Re: “Gender Bent,” magazine, Mar. 23.

Rather than continue to add protected categories to Harvard’s non-discrimination policy, Harvard should not cringe at following the University of Chicago’s lead. It should be enough to add: “or other factors irrelevant to participation in the programs of the University.”
