Holsey out indefinitely, Crimson to face Marist

By Alex Mcphillips, Crimson Staff Writer

The Harvard women’s basketball team, which is reeling after five straight losses—three of them without co-captain guard Jessica Holsey—hits the road again tomorrow.

Tomorrow’s game at Marist (4-4) in Poughkeepsie, NY brings together two women’s basketball teams who have never played—and who appear to be headed in opposite directions.

After four straight losses to open the season, the Red Foxes are riding a four-game winning streak, capped by Sunday’s thrilling overtime win against Iona.

The Crimson, on the other hand, has struggled in just about every phase of its game since its last win, which came on November 22 at Rhode Island.

Harvard must ride the hot hand of leading scorer Laura Robinson (11.3 ppg) if it plans to break its streak upstate.
