The Harvard women’s cross country team finished 25th and the men’s team finished 32nd at the NCAA Pre-Nationals meet on Saturday in Terre Haute, Ind.

Sophomore Lindsey Scherf led the women’s squad with a time of 20:16.4, which was good enough for a fifth-place finish in her heat.

Junior Sean Barrett’s time of 25:21 was the Crimson’s best and was 117th in his heat.

The men’s and women’s teams run back into action on Oct. 28 for the Mayor’s Cup in Franklin Park.
