The Harvard women’s volleyball team finished off its weekend with a 3-0 loss to host URI in its final game of the Rhode Island Invitational on Saturday.
The Crimson went 1-2 in the tournament, topping UNH 3-0 and falling to Rutgers 3-0 in a pair of matches on Friday.
Senior outside hitter Nilly Schweitzer was the squad’s lone selection to the all-Tournament team, a group dominated by players from tourney champion Rutgers, who swept all three of its matches 3-0 to take the title in dominating fashion.
Schweitzer was honored after leading the Crimson in kills in each of its three matches, including a 15-kill performance against UNH. Senior Kaego Ogbechie and freshman Lauren Mahon both posted double-doubles in the Crimson win.
The Crimson (2-3) will now travel to Hanover, N.H. to play three games in the Dartmouth Invitational this weekend.
