Mass. Ave. Cambridge Trust Company Bank Robbed

By Hana R. Alberts, Crimson Staff Writer

An unidentified white male robbed the Cambridge Trust Company bank at Massachusetts Avenue and Holyoke Street on Friday afternoon, according to Cambridge Police Department spokesperson Frank D. Pasquarello.

Officers arrived at the bank at around 4 p.m. on Friday, but the suspect had already fled and no arrest was made, according to Pasquarello.

Pasquarello said the suspect “passed a note” to the teller asking for money.

The suspect did not use any weapons, Pasquarello said, and no one was hurt in the incident.

Pasquarello said no further description of the suspect is available at this time.

The bank does not release the amount of money taken, according to Pasquarello.
