Defeating Bush a Key Step for Gay Marriage

Letters to the Editors

By John S. Marcus

To the editors:

Adam P. Schneider ’07 made some excellent points in his op-ed on gay marriage (“Unmarried and Unequal,” Oct. 17). I think, however, that he missed a key point by not stating that President George W. Bush and some of his bigoted and misguided Republican friends and allies need to be voted out of office in the next presidential and congressional election so we may be able to achieve a more enlightened, kinder and gentler American society.
