July 21:

4:30 a.m.—A Harvard University Police Department officer arrested two individuals at the Peabody Terrace Garage for allegedly vandalizing a car. One, whose name was not released, was charged as a juvenile with breaking and entering and malicious damage to a motor vehicle. Police also arrested 17-year-old Walter Norris of Boston.

3:41 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to 14 Plympton St. after receiving a report that the building smelled of gas. The Cambridge Fire Department deemed the building safe.

July 22:

8:50 a.m.—An officer found two delinquents allegedly stealing bicycles at Peabody Terrace and turned the individuals over to their parents. Criminal complaints will be sought.

6:22 p.m.—An officer filed a report of a stolen computer at Cabot House.

July 23:

6:10 a.m.—An officer was sent to the Sackler Museum where an angry worker had reportedly yelled and kicked equipment. The person was gone upon the officer’s arrival.

July 24:

7:26 p.m.—An officer took a report of a stolen bike at Harvard Hall.

July 25:

12:12 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to take a report of a wallet stolen from a locker at the Malkin Athletic Center (MAC).

12:44 p.m.—An officer took a report of a stolen wallet at the MAC.

1:19 p.m.—An officer took a report of a stolen wallet at the MAC.

5:38 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to 260 Longwood Ave. to remove a person who was dancing in the hallway. The individual said the dancing was intended to relieve stress.

July 26:

6:51 p.m.—An officer arrested 48-year-old Terry Forrest of Boston for shoplifting at Au Bon Pain.

July 27:

11:22 p.m.—An officer issued a trespass warning to a suspicious individual at the Kennedy School of Government.

July 28:

2:02 a.m.—An officer was sent to Holworthy Hall after receiving a noise complaint. The complaint was unfounded.

July 29:

6:16 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to the Carpenter Center to file a report of a stolen bike.

7:39 p.m.—An officer investigated a fire alarm at Widener Library. A person who discharged a fire extinguisher had set off the alarm.

July 30:

12:46 a.m.—An officer took a report of a stolen laptop computer and guitar at the Harvard Advocate.

6:27 a.m.—An officer removed a group sleeping in Weld Boathouse.

July 31:

7:48 a.m.—An officer filed a report of larceny of cash at 1280 Mass. Ave. Complaints will be sought in court against 32-year-old Laura Canham of Newton, Mass. for larceny over $250 by a single scheme.

5:59 p.m.—An officer took a report of an ID stolen from Weld.

Aug. 1:

8:11 a.m.—An officer filed a report for larceny of $400 cash at Holyoke Center.

9:26 p.m.—Officers quieted a loud party at 95 Prescott St.

Aug. 2:

2:39 a.m.—An officer conducted a field interview with a suspicious individual at the Barker Center. A warrant check came back negative.

5:28 p.m.—An officer took a report of a palm pilot and wallet stolen from a locker at the MAC.

Aug. 3:

1:53 a.m.—Officers stopped three individuals who damaged sprinkler heads at Adams House. Complaints may be sought.

5:33 a.m.—An officer arrested 33-year-old Brian Brown of Hyde Park at Peabody Terrace for assault and battery and domestic abuse.
