June 23:

7:47 p.m.—An officer was dispatched on a report of someone looking into the first floor windows of Leverett House. Subject was gone on arrival.

June 24:

1:36 a.m.—An officer was dispatched on a report of people stealing a table from under a tent in the yard of Thayer Hall. Officer determined it to be students involved in a prank.

June 25:

1:47 a.m.—An officer was dispatched on a complaint of people yelling obscenities from the top floor of Wigglesworth Hall.

4:25 p.m.—An officer arrested 22-year-old Andrew Kalinda for trespassing into Winthrop House.

11:16 p.m.—An officer was dispatched on a report of a fire in Lamont Library. The fire was extinguished by CFD.

10:58 p.m.—An officer was dispatched on a report of a person committing a lewd act while looking into the window of Leverett House. A check of the area came back with negative results. The suspect is described as a white male, thirty years of age, clean cut, wearing glasses and blue jeans.

June 26:

7:50 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to file a report of a stolen camera at Holyoke Arcade.

June 27:

1:35 a.m.—An officer was dispatched on the report of a security guard in foot pursuit of a subject that was observed breaking into a vending machine at Conant Lab. Check of the area came back with negative results. The suspect is described as a white male, thirty years of age, full beard, wearing blue jeans, a backpack and a puffy black coat.

12:30 p.m.—Officers searched Au Bon Pain for a person who was harassing customers. The subject was gone on arrival.

June 28:

2:07 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to take a report of a stolen laptop computer at Baker Library.

10:28 p.m.—An officer was dispatched on the report of an indecent assault and battery at Au Bon Pain. A confidential CID investigation is ongoing.

10:56 p.m.—An officer responded to take a report of a stolen wallet at Loeb Drama Center.

June 29:

10:57—Officers arrested a juvenile for a drug law violation and possession of counterfeit currency in JFK Park.

June 30:

10:46 p.m.—A Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officer filed a report of a stolen laptop computer at Matthews Hall.

7:25 p.m.—After receiving a call from individuals stuck in an elevator, an officer was sent to Boylston Hall to meet the trapped party. An operations engineer arrived on the scene and was able to remove the individuals from the elevator.

July 1:

1:16 a.m.—After conducting a prolonged search of a suspicious individual on Ware St., an HUPD officer arrested 42-year-old Arnoldo Castro of Cambridge for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and trespassing.

10:34 a.m.—An officer took a report of a laptop computer stolen from Thayer Hall.

10:23 p.m.—HUPD officers and the Cambridge Fire Department (CFD) responded to reports of a car on fire in front of the Malkin Athletic Center. CFD extinguished the fire.

July 2:

8:04 p.m.—An officer took a report of a stolen bike at Canaday Hall.

July 3:

7:39 a.m.—An HUPD officer was dispatched to Weld Boathouse to remove “an unwanted street person” who was sleeping inside of the boathouse.

10:43 p.m.—An officer received a report of people stuck in the elevator at Vanderbilt Hall. The elevator company arrived at the scene and released the individuals from the elevator.

July4:

12:30 a.m.—After receiving a report that two young children were knocking on all of the doors at Peabody Terrace, officers were dispatched to the scene. A brief investigation revealed that individuals were locked out of their apartment.

1:02 a.m.—An officer took a report of a burglarized vending machine at the Pound Building.

July 5:

2:07 a.m.—After receiving a noise complaint, officers checked the Maxwell Dworkin Building for individuals with fireworks. The search turned up negative.

6:25 p.m.—An HUPD officer filed a report of a stolen wallet on Church St.

July 6:

1:38 p.m.—An officer received a report of a suspicious person taking pictures of the ATM at Harkness Commons. After conducting a field interview, the officer learned that the individual was a Fleet employee working at the ATM.

10:24 p.m.—An officer was dispatched to the Weld Boathouse, where maintenance reportedly entered a room twice without permission.
