Keep Our Rights Intact

Letters to the Editor

By Ernani J. Dearaujo

To the editors:

The editorial “Repeal Second Amendment” by the Crimson Staff was refreshing for its intellectual honesty. You have openly articulated what liberals and gun control advocates have secretly wanted for years but have refused to say so openly—stripping law-abiding Americans of their right to defend themselves with arms and their right to bear arms for sport. Few are opposed to regulation of purchasing weapons, to safety training and to appropriate background checks; but fanatical anti-gun advocates want to take our rights away.
