Sept. 15:2:24 a.m.--A caller reported loud drumming coming from 20 DeWolfe St. A Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) officer responded and quieted the drummer.
5:32 a.m.--An officer and maintenance workers assisted a Quincy House student who became trapped in his room when the handle fell off the door.

10:54 p.m.--A citizen approached a guard at the Harvard Business School (HBS) to report a row of cars with smashed windows. HUPD has noted an upsurge in this type of incident in and around HBS, including stolen and vandalized motor vehicles and stolen license plates. The on-campus incidents have occurred in the Business School parking lot, Newell Boathouse and the parking area of the athletic buildings.
Sept. 19:
1:31 p.m.--An HUPD detail officer, assigned to a motorcade outside the Faculty Club, reported that a man walked up and began harassing the motorcade. CPD took the man into custody for disorderly conduct.
1:33 p.m.--HUPD units assisted CPD and the Massachusetts State Police in a pursuit near Peabody Terrace.
4:45 p.m.--A Boston resident reported that when he met his brother-in-law at Au Bon Pain, the brother-in-law demanded money. When the victim refused to hand over any money, his brother-in-law attacked him with a cell phone. A store employee broke up the fight, and the unconscious victim was transported to Mt. Auburn Hospital.
Sept. 20:
4:15 p.m.--A resident reported that while towing a car, the car's owner grabbed a slim jim and hit the victim. When the victim hopped in the tow truck and attempted to escape, the owner pulled out a handgun and fired a shot into the tow truck.
9:07 p.m.--A woman on Brattle Street reported that a 5 foot 7 inch black male wearing a red satin running suit harassed her.
10:48 p.m.--HUPD stopped two men suspected of trying to steal milk from Au Bon Pain in Harvard Square. Police issued a no trespass warning to one of the men.
