THIS WEEKEND IN THEATER

Making its much-anticipated move from the West End to the Loeb Ex, Shelagh Stephenson's The Memory of Water begins a twoweekend run. The London production won an Olivier Award (that's like a Tony, for you New Yorkers) for Best Comedy. And sources indicate that the Harvard production, which marks the directorial debute of actress Tegan Shohet '01, is sure to be every bit as humorous and heartfelt.

Despite the over-eager report in last week's paper, Arcadia by Tom Stoppard, this year's incarnation of the Freshman Theater Project, actually opens this weekend in the Agassiz Theater. So if you were hungry for chaos theory, the squabbles of literary historians and Romantic theories of landscaping last weekend but just couldn't tear yourself away from that problem set, you're in luck.
