April 22:

1:46 a.m.--The Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) broke up a loud party at the Advocate.

2:13 p.m.--Security officers in the Science Center reported a homeless person who refused to leave and was smoking in the lobby. Police removed the individual.

April 23:

12:08 a.m.--Two individuals kicked in a plate glass window at Out of Town News. HUPD stopped the individuals outside Au Bon Pain and notified Cambridge police, who responded and apprehended the two men.

4:45 p.m.--A man at 474 Broadway St. called HUPD concerned about noises coming from a vacant apartment. Police responded and found the apartment vacant.

10:13 p.m.--An HUPD unit assisted Boston police with a motor vehicle accident near the Anderson Bridge. Boston police arrested one individual.

April 24:

12:32 p.m.--HUPD responded to a complaint about a loud band near Harkness Commons. The band was a part of Earth Day activities.

3:32 p.m.--Police responded to the Inn at Harvard to remove an individual who overstayed his visit. HUPD arrested Vitas Rasys, 46, of Cambridge and charged him with assault and battery on a police officer, attempt to commit a crime, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and trespassing.

5:45 p.m.--HUPD stopped and interviewed a suspicious person on Kennedy Street.

April 25:

2:03 a.m.--Security reported index cards on the ground around the McKay Building.

9:54 a.m.--A student in Pforzheimer House's Comstock Hall reported a morning burglary. Police announced Friday they charged Clark Caravan, of Boston, with trespassing in connection with the burglary. They described him as a light-skinned black male, 170 pounds, 6 foot 3 inches tall. HUPD officials ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact them at 495-1212.

9:51 p.m.--Police and fire units responded to a car accident at the intersection of Mill and Plympton Streets.

April 26:

5:16 p.m.--Cambridge fire officials asked HUPD to meet the chief fire inspector on DeWolfe Street to discuss a widespread power outage.

April 30:

1:15 p.m.--HUPD failed to respond to the assault and battery of many 'Poonsters by editors of The Harvard Crimson. The Crimeds left the members of the Harvard Lampoon, a semi-secret Sorrento Square organization which used to occasionally publish a so-called humor magazine, bloodied and dazed on the Cambridge Common softball field. The reaction of the 'Poonsters was humorless, as always.
