A commitment to hiring a faculty that is consistent with the diversity that exists within the student population.

A commitment to provide a curriculum that addresses issues of diversity, and is not solely dependent on who is here on faculty from year to year.

Clarification of the responsibilities of the new Associate/Assistant Dean for Program Development position in the Dean's office, as it relates to issues of diversity.

A year-end progress report on HGSE diversity initiatives provided by the Dean annually.

A progress report/update on all current faculty searches, including the demographic breakdown of the gender, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, research interests, and program of all candidates that applied this year.

Expansion of the area peer-advising program. Emphasizing how it can better serve a diverse student population.
