A rally planned for yesterday by the Bisexual, Gay, Lesbian, Transgender and Supporters' Alliance in response to recent homophobic graffiti in the Houses was postponed until next Thursday due to bad weather.
The rally, which was meant to respond to graffiti in Mather, Winthrop and Adams Houses was to be held at noon on the steps of Memorial Church.
At that time, amidst strong gusts of wind and intermittent rain, a small group of supporters gathered on the stairs, a turnout described as a "typical Harvard response" by one disappointed bystander.
Several minutes later, the BGLTSA members organizing the rally announced that it would be postponed due to the inclement weather.
BGLTSA leaders have since said the rally will be held next Thursday at noon.
