Conservatives Principled Too

Dissent

By James Y. Stern

While we oppose today's trends toward a discompassionate selfishness and irresponsible apathy, the staff incorrectly links this unfortunate phenomenon to conservative ideology. Conservatives, too, are borne of principle, though obviously this comes to light in different ways from those on the left.
