The following events were listed in the Cambridge Police Department's blotter from April 14 to April 21.

April 14

At 1:15 p.m., an East Boston resident reports being assaulted by a 30-year-old male with blond hair who cursed at him and called him "faggot" while striking him in the back.

April 15

A California resident reports that while staying at the Royal Sonesta hotel he arranged to receive a massage from an escort service. He says the escort arrived and offered to give him more than a massage. The Californian says he refused and left the room. When he returned to his room, he says he found that the escort had taken $230.

An employee of the CVS located at 1426 Mass. Ave. reports that a male placed four to five vials of cream in his backpack without paying for the items. When another employee confronted the suspect, the suspect said, "I'll kick your ass."

April 16

A female reports that while she was waiting for a ride at 1 Canal Park, a 5-foot 10-inch male, weighing around 180 pounds and wearing a black baseball hat, black jacket and pants and a white T-shirt, walked by the window behind which she was standing, exposed himself to her and then walked into Sears.

A woman filed a report that on Nov. 26, 1997, her husband picked up her children for a visit and never returned. She was told her husband had taken her children, now 18 months and six years, to India, but now fears he has fled that location.

April 17

A Winthrop resident reports that an unknown person took $100 from her ATM account. She says she either dropped her card or someone took it when she wasn't looking.

April 18

An employee of the 212 Western Ave. Pizza Ring reports that at 11 p.m., an unknown person forced open the door and took a cassette player, a calculator, $15 and $400 worth of food.

April 19

A Cambridge resident reports that while he was inside the Store 24 in Harvard Square, an unidentified male started to argue with the clerk. When the reporting person came to the clerk's aid, the suspect began kicking the reporting person in the legs.

April 20

A Tufts University student reports that a male and a female approached her and demanded all her money while she was waiting for a bus on Union Street. The suspects then fled on foot.

April 21

A Cambridge resident reports that a 16-year-old 5-foot 10-inch male asked her for the time while she was walking near Garden Street. When she stated she did not know the time, the male grabbed her pocketbook which contained a box of Bank-Boston personal checks and shoved her to the ground.
