Black History Article Original

To the editors:

Thanks so much for the article on Black History Month (or the lack thereof) in Concord (News, Feb. 25). It is a highly original theme, and author Stephanie Clifford has clearly done a lot of careful investigation.

Besides that, the article is written in a non-judgmental style, leaving the reader to form their own conclusions. An excellent example of student (or any) journalism! STEPHEN PEPPER   Feb. 25, 1998
