Consider Chumbawumba

By Sarah Jacoby

We are disappointed in the council's decision not to pursue Chumbawumba for two reasons. First, the band is equipped with an excellent college anthem, "Tubthumping" (the one with th refrain, "I get knocked down, but I get up again").

Second, the council's reasons for not attempting to get the band are ludicrous. Though religious groups may object to the band's anarchic politics, it will always be impossible to appease an entire campus. Furthermore, Chumbawumba would provide just as much fun for students, if not more, than a law-abiding musical group.
