The Gray's suite, with a common room, three bedrooms and a full bath feels thoughtfully planned and decorated. The visitor immediately identifies an effortless, light and airy quality to the space. The suite-mates had to make some personal sacrifices to achieve their sophisticated aesthetic. Danny M. Lewis '01 remembers the hard decision roommate Mike A. Tringe faced before arriving at Harvard.
"Mike had a choice to bring the Lay-Z-Boy or his mom out here from Nebraska," recounts Lewis. Tringe brought the chair.
Elegant Crate & Barrel couches with light canvas slip covers, flanked by wrought-iron floor lamps establish a pristine, catalog-like atmosphere. Behind the sofa, light pours in through the large bay window. On the opposite wall, above the mini-refrigerator, hangs a mounted jackelope head.
