Yale Student Fractures Ankle in Post-Game Wall Jump

By James Y. Stern, CRIMSON STAFF WRITER

Saturday's football action resulted in one more casualty besides the football team. A Yale student had to be rushed to the hospital in an ambulance after trying to storm the field at The Game's conclusion.

According to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD), the football fan, decked out in blue, appeared to have fractured his ankle after jumping off the wall that separates the seats from the field.

His friends accompanied him to Mt. Auburn Hospital, which is refusing to release the student's name.

Lieutenant Peter O'Hare of HUPD said this student's injury was the worst of the day but was far from being the only one.

"I don't know if he was drinking," said O'Hare. "But a majority of students were drinking."
