Massachusetts is in good health today because of skillful leadership under both William F. Weld '66 and Paul Cellucci. Cellucci is a fiscal conservative whose policies can maintain the progress made since Michael Dukakis's budget deficits. Cellucci has also demonstrated a willingness to reconsider important issues, which is evidenced by the progressive reforms he advocates for the state education system, namely statewide teachers' competency exams and funding for charter schools. Cellucci has been good for the state and has ideas for further improvement. Keep him in office and let him do his job.
