Welcome, Simpson

Students should be thrilled that Alan Simpson will soon be a permanent fixture on campus. He is one man whose near seven-foot frame is symbolic of his professional stature.

I have no doubt that Simpson will help clarify for campus liberals why Republicans control Congress and so many governor-ships. On behalf of Republicans and moderates, I welcome Simpson to Harvard.
