Hate Poster

By Ethan M. Katz, CONTRIBUTING REPORTER

On the heels of a white supremacist poster last week and an anti-Semitic poster Monday, an anti-Asian poster was found yesterday on the bottom a kiosk in the Yard.

"This is quite unusual," said Dean of Students Archie C. Epps III. "It sounds like somebody's active."

"Immigration" and "treason" appear on the latest poster in capital letters, followed by, "Stop buying oriental cars etc." No author or group claimed responsibility for the poster.

Epps said that although he is currently developing some alternative responses to the hate posters, he needs to know specific locations.

He urged members of the University community to keep an eye out for the posters.

Jay F. Chen '00, political education chair of the Asian American Association and a Crimson editor, said he was surprised by the flyer, and he said that this is the first time he has heard of an anti-Asian posting on campus.
