Twenty thousand dollars is a lot of money. To spend it on a pathetic Saturday afternoon is ludicrous.

Either multiple students groups, with the support of the University, must make a determined effort to make Springfest big--with lots of available alcohol and several bands over a two or three-day period. Or, if this is a pipe-dream, the Council should bag the whole idea and spend its money on something worthwhile.
