Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
In response to Sarah B. Jacoby's opinion piece "Copy Kat": Yes! I've been there more times than I care to imagine. But she left out several important glitches in the system:
Photocopying in Pusey, where there is no Crimson Cash machine closer than the basement of Widener;
Photocopying books of awkward sizes with almost no options for enlargement and reduction;
Having to pay ten cents a page for photocopying when you could get it for five just across the street, but no, bound journals don't leave the building;
Having done fairly extensive photocopying in almost every major Harvard library, I can say with some authority and without hesitation that Gutman Library has the best photocopying facilities on campus: Close to the bound journals, variable enlargement and reduction and two-page-at-a-time copying.
Mostly, though, it just makes me happy to see that someone else has gone through the same photocopy traumas at the hands of the Harvard library system. At last, I know I'm not alone. Susan M. Groppi '98
