San Diego Race Deserved Coverage

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

I would like to express my disappointment in your not covering the San Diego Crew Classic two weekends ago.

The men's heavyweight crew sent two boats across the country and the men's lightweight sent one. The Radcliffe women sent their lightweight varsity and won the entire event.

That's right--we beat our rival Villanova among twelve other crews and brought back nine medals and a large trophy. Most important we brought back pride and enthusiasm, none of which was recognized in the Crimson. --Rebecca A. Marks '99, for the Radcliffe Lightweights
