Ad Board Has Knack for Fascism

I would like to thank you for your editorial, "Reverse the Tide of Paternalism." I thought it was an excellent piece. It was eloquent, concise, accurate, and very astute. In my opinion, you expressed perfectly the crucial and terrible flaws of the Ad Board and the Administration's general attitude toward student affairs.

I know from personal experience how painful an encounter with the heavy hand of the Ad Board can be. It was everything that your editorial described and more--in particular, it's knack for fascist interrogation techniques and for coercing friends to incriminate friends.

It was a deep comfort to read such a thoughtful commentary on an exceedingly important subject. --Kevin Krim '97-'98
