The staff is right to berate the Coop for its uncompetitive pricing, of books, but it goes too far when it asks for the Coop to buy back books at half their original cost. Such a high percentage is out of line with some of the very bookstores the staff would have the Coop emulate. We need a competitive Coop, not a compassionate Coop.
